Now that the pattern blocks are finalized and I’m nearing the end of patternmaking for the 2 tops, I’ve spent the last 10 days sourcing materials and US factories and suppliers. I should say re-sourcing since I’ve been intermittently researching this since my Harvard days launched STACKED. It’s looking good and I’m pretty confident that 2017 will be a big year for STACKED.
When I opened the folder with my collateral images to update the website to reflect the new launch timeframe I saw this this gem of an image and wanted to share. This was taken in 2011 when I needed a dress form but couldn’t figure out how to get the dimensions precisely replicated on a dress form I had a brilliant and cheap idea to make a mold of me, stuff it and stick it on an umbrella base. Crafty, eh?
