Some of you may have noticed I haven’t posted in a while. I’m still here, plowing through the technical aspects of clothing design. I encountered a setback to the master pattern a couple of months ago and it really threw me off. I went back through every calculation, measurement, slope and triangulation on the master pattern. Turns out the block pattern was right and now I’m working primarily with a dress form. I’m back on track and more determined than ever.
Final Production Muslins
I still have time to change if need be but my current thinking is for the first product offerings to be a pullover fitted knit, Style 4, and a fitted button down woven blouse with pleats in the front and princess seams in the back, Style 2. Now I’m going to make up the product samples and I’ll post them when they’re done. I’m really looking forward to get my hands on some production fabric. Fun! Fun! Let the games begin.

Style 2 size 6D side view For the final version I’ll be removing the sweetheart neckline, lengthening the blouse and adding a collar, sleeves and cuffs. Something tells me that will be harder than I think. I’ll get there.
